egyptian-glass-and-gold-ornaments.jpg Molded glass art was made in Egypt as early as 1200 BCE. Using many of the same techniques as they did then, glassblowers in Cairo have created these beautiful ornaments by hand.

Artisans have hand painted the translucent color and added 24-karat gold swirls. These beautiful pieces of art will be wonderful as Christmas ornaments or year round decorations. These Egyptian Glass-and-gold Ornaments are available at National Geographic and measure approximately 4″ high.
