Each of the 44 “tracks” are actually xylophone keys that play notes in the key of C for a full scale as the train passes over. You can just let the train run over the tracks playing one of the seven songs in the included song book, or the kiddies can make up their own music. The keys are color coded, so that even if your little one can’t read yet, he or she can follow the colors in the book to create their music.
